Ziki Zaffir

President, Amcor Holdings

Born and raised in Tel-Aviv Israel, Ziki served as an officer in the paratrooper brigade at the IDF before completing his BA in Economics at Tel-Aviv University. After moving to Montréal to complete his MBA at Concordia University, he worked in real estate across various firms and functions, ending up as a VP for David Azrieli, a major real estate developer in Canada and US (via CanPro Investments), and Israel (via the Azrieli Group, Israel’s largest public real estate company). Ziki left CanPro and co-founded Amcor Holdings in 1995.

Amcor Holdings, an independent Montréal-headquartered real estate investment management boutique, is focused on acquiring and managing assets across the commercial real estate spectrum in US and Canada. Amcor and its principals own and manage a portfolio of approximately $350 million in real estate assets through partnerships and direct holdings spanning over 3.5M square feet of retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties.

Amcor’s investment approach is shaped to develop and execute a customised strategy to meet the specific investment objectives of each of our partners and investors. Specifically, in the United States, this approach has led to investments largely in the Midwest and Florida, acquiring assets at a discount to replacement value. The assets are held with a long-term horizon, using well capitalised investment structures and deploying sustainable but aggressive asset management strategies.
