Nick Bakish, a leading Montreal-based commercial real estate activist, impact investor and ESG proponent, has devoted two decades to helping individuals, families, and collectives, build healthier futures. Nick is a CFA by training, and founding partner at Group RMC, and was mentored by the legendary Ray Massa, whose focus on identifying income-producing, high-quality buildings that are available at massive discounts to replacement costs, is more relevant than ever and continues to generate results.

Nick’s passion for impact investing has been a key success driver from his early days at McGill University, where he finished with first class honors, through to his Certified Financial Analyst studies, which fueled a successful career as an investment adviser, manager, and later divisional director at several Canada’s leading sector players Nick has always integrated societal values into dealings with clients and business partners, his investment strategy, and his focus on environmental, social, and governance issues. These include volunteer activities ranging from President of the Sierra Club Foundation, to membership in the Montreal Board of Trade, the Young Presidents Organization, and Tiger 21. His most recent efforts center on the plight of the right whale.
