Jonathan Charron is a lawyer in the Montreal tax group at Fasken. He advises clients in various industries on a broad range of complex international legal and taxation matters. His focus is providing services to the firm’s private clients. He advises and supports individuals and families of various origins whose businesses prosper from one generation to the next in multiple sectors. His expertise centres around Canadian and international tax law; asset protection, preservation and estate transfer planning; trusts and estates; international banking and tax regulations (FATCA, CRS, AEOI, IGAs); private international law; corporate reorganizations and cross-border transactions; life insurance planning; and philanthropic tax planning.
