Yuval Avni
Yuval is the managing general partner and co-founder of Crescendo venture partners. He has over 15 years’ experience being on both sides of the table in high-tech and innovation as entrepreneur, executive and investor. Yuval is also the Co-founder of Swanlaab a VC fund in Spain, where he is a venture partner and part of the investment committee. Prior to founding crescendo venture partners Yuval was the CEO of Beta-O2 Technologies where he led more than $10m investment into the company and strategic partnering with big pharma. Prior he was Partner at Giza VC a $600m fund focusing on Israeli Tech and partner in GPV, Poland. Yuval is a visiting lecturer on entrepreneurship and fundraising at the Technion – Israel institute of Technology – and Tel Aviv University. Yuval served in the Israeli army as an officer in the special operation unit of the intelligence corps.
Yuval is a medical doctor from the Technion in Haifa, Israel and used to practice medicine in Israel as a general and vascular surgeon, he also holds a BSc in medical science from the Technion.
