

Walter Sendzik
From an entrepreneur to an enterprising CEO of a business organization to being the Mayor of St. Catharines, Ontario, Walter has defied the odds throughout his career. Throw in a pandemic and life took a few more really interesting turns. Leading with compassion and searching for solutions are the bedrocks of his story. Since his departure from office in 2022, Walter has launched another company called 12M Solutions. With his experience as an entrepreneur, CEO and Mayor, 12M Solutions focuses on finding pathways to solutions rather than being paralyzed by obstacles.
Walter is also a talk show host on The Drive on 610CTKB – a Bell Media station and he hosts as weekly social issues social that is syndicated in Ontario and available across all podcast platforms.
Walter has served on local and provincial boards including Niagara College, Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, Pathstone Children’s Mental Health, the LCBO and the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). As Mayor he served as Chair of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative Board of Directors, Niagara Regional Housing and was a member Ontario Big City Mayors. Walter holds a Masters from McGill University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and holds an ICD – Rotman Directors Education Program from the Rotman School of Business.
