Maxyne Finkelstein has been engaged in community organizations as a professional and volunteer for more years than she would want to count, each of these years being filled with meaningful experiences.

Maxyne completed her undergraduate and graduate education in political science and public administration and has worked in the non – profit sector throughout her career.  Maxyne has been an organizational leader in Montreal, Toronto, and New York in the fields of strategy, planning, fundraising and global representation.  In 2015 she completed an additional graduate degree in mediation and conflict resolution and began a limited practice in the field to encourage non- profits to solve seemingly intractable problems in governance, relationships and internal operations through productive communication.

In 2017 Maxyne returned to Montreal after a nineteen-year absence to assume the position of professional President of the Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation, the thirteenth largest private family foundation in Canada.  Maxyne is always seeking philanthropic partners who are interested in coming together to improve the world.
