Jesse Vincent-Herscovici est président-directeur général de Axelys. Il cumule plus de 15 années d’expérience dans la mise en place de partenariats avec les gouvernements, les institutions académiques et l’industrie issus du milieu de l’innovation.

Jesse Vincent-Herscovici est passionné par l’avancement de l’écosystème d’innovation, la recherche collaborative et la mise en relation des talents et des occasions d’affaires. Son expertise permet d’aider les entreprises, les organisations et les universités à naviguer dans un monde concurrentiel afin de soutenir l’économie du savoir et la création de nouveaux partenariats stratégiques au profit d’une société québécoise toujours plus innovante et prospère.

Avant de rejoindre Axelys, il occupait le poste de Vice-président, Développement des affaires chez Mitacs depuis 2009. Il était également président de l’équipe de direction. Jesse Vincent-Herscovici a siégé sur de multiples comités consultatifs et conseils d’administration tels que : le Concordia Institute for Water, Energy, and Sustainable Systems à titre de président du conseil d’administration, le Centre for Applied Mathematics in Bioscience and Medicine de l’Université McGill, ou encore le Réseau BioFuelNetCanada. Il est actuellement membre de la Fondation de recherche Banting et de l’Institut pour la mobilité et l’aérospatiale du Canada.

Jesse Vincent-Herscovici est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en psychologie et d’une maîtrise ès arts en systèmes d’intervention auprès des personnes de l’Université Concordia.

Jesse Vincent-Herscovici is passionate about driving innovation ecosystems, collaborative research, and connecting talent and opportunities. His expertise helps companies, organizations and universities to successfully navigate in a very competitive world to sustain the knowledge economy and the creation of new strategic partnerships for the benefit of an ever more innovative and thriving Quebec society.

Before joining Axelys, he was Vice-President, Business Development of Mitacs since 2009. He was also President of the management team. Jesse Vincent-Herscovici has been a member of multiple advisory committees and boards of directors such as: the Concordia Institute for Water, Energy, and Sustainable Systems as Chair of the Board of Directors, the Centre for Applied Mathematics in Bioscience and Medicine of McGill University, and the BioFuelNetCanada Network. He is currently a member of the Banting Research Foundation and the Institute for Mobility and Aerospace in Canada.

Jesse Vincent-Herscovici holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University.
