Drew Toth is the Founder and Director of Elevate Living Inc., a Niagara-based home builder and developer focused on providing a variety of housing options to suit the needs of the growing community. Elevate Living is inspired by New Urbanism: a development philosophy that prioritizes place, walkability and community. Drew works with engineers, planners, investors, designers, and architects to oversee projects from vision to reality. Drew has extensive experience locating suitable development opportunities and works alongside community members, politicians and seasoned professionals to convert raw land into site-plan approved land that aims for its highest and best use.

Drew has been involved in various aspects of real estate, including forced asset appreciation, sales, investment, education, property management, building and development. In the 15 years he’s been actively involved in real estate, he has built a reputation of trust and integrity with his colleagues, investors and clients. Drew is seasoned in working with investors through various investment structures and has built his business through his investor-first philosophy.

Having completed over 100 real estate ventures as well as vetting hundreds of deals, his experience and developed process in vetting deals is one of the greatest skills he brings to the REIT.

Drew is a lifelong Niagara resident where he currently lives with his spouse and children. Drew has significant and deep connections in the Niagara region, and has an outstanding reputation. Prior to real estate, Drew was the Executive Director at a local housing program, leading a team to help guide those experiencing chronic and temporary homelessness into a better life through programming, advocacy, the provision of basic needs and more permanent housing.

Drew believes in the power of real estate to create win-win situations; he believes the communities needs can be met while at the same time delivering financial returns to his investors. Drew’s continued commitment to community involvement is demonstrated in his ongoing dedication to community initiatives and actions:

• In 2008-2013, Drew led a team of dentists, dental hygienists and community members to open a volunteer dental clinic. The Quest Community Health Clinic is running strong and is delivering a much-needed service to the community. “Helping people smile again.”

• Former Director of a Homeless Shelter with an acute awareness of the need for more housing options for all

•  Participant as a local expert for CMHC data collection

• He currently sits on the Innovative Affordable Housing Committee at Niagara Regional Headquarters and provides input and ideas from a private developer/builder viewpoint, believing that the private sector is an important part of the solution to providing affordable housing

• Member of Welland’s Affordable Task Force

• Ongoing partnership with local Home for Good programs to build multi-unit buildings for people in need of long-term housing
