My wife, Melanie, and I are deeply committed to living a values-driven life, centered on ethics, purpose, and impact. Together with our two children and the broader Bonapace family, we are building a legacy that empowers each member to make a meaningful contribution to society and the environment. Our initiatives reflect a blend of entrepreneurial acumen and heartfelt mission—from a multi-family real estate fund in Texas that delivers strong returns while revitalizing communities, to the animal sanctuary we operate on our ranch in northern Quebec, where we rescue and care for mistreated horses, dogs, and cats.

Our most personal endeavor is the foundation we recently launched, inspired by my own battle with a life-threatening illness caused by exposure to industrial pollutants. Through this foundation, we advocate for those affected by environmental injustice—particularly the harmful release of heavy metals—and work to protect both human health and fragile ecosystems. This is not just philanthropy; it’s our way of holding unethical practices to account and investing in healing and prevention.

Professionally, I bring over 30 years of international experience in real estate development and management. As CEO of rEnergize Capital, I lead projects across Canada and the U.S., with a focus on energy-optimized assets. My expertise in commercial and industrial energy efficiency includes co-developing AI-driven software to reduce energy use and operating costs. I also serve on several local economic development boards and advise elected officials at all levels of government on climate action. A graduate of HEC Montréal with a degree in finance, I am also a certified carpenter, licensed general contractor (RBQ), and private pilot. When not working, you’ll find me kite surfing, building on the ranch, or dreaming up our next family project.
