Carl Bennett originally hails from Montreal where he grew up as an avid hockey player and a dedicated Habs fan.

He completed undergraduate studies at Bishop’s University (Liberal Arts) and joined the Canadian Infantry Corps upon graduation. After 15 years of active service, he retired as a major and returned to school (MBA – Queens University) before joining Bennett Church Hill Capital. Currently serving as the firm’s managing director, he is responsible for the groups direct private equity holdings.
