Mr. Elie Nour
Founder & CEO, Nour Private Wealth (NPW)
Elie Nour is the Founder & CEO of Nour Private Wealth (NPW), one of Canada's few truly independent wealth management firms.
At NPW, we provide wealth planning advice and tax minimization strategies to clients with high and ultra-high net worth. With close to one billion dollars in assets under management, we serve Canadians' wealth management needs across eight provinces. Outside of Canada, we have the ability to take on clients from more than 100 countries, manage portfolios in 19 different currencies and across 28 stock markets.
In 2005, Elie began his career as an Investment Advisor in Montreal, Quebec, at one of Canada's largest financial institutions. At a very young age, Elie became one of the most successful advisors in the industry due to his disciplined and conservative approach to investing and his vast knowledge in tax reduction and intergenerational wealth transfer. In 2013, Elie moved to Ontario and established NPW. Towards the end of 2018, NPW selected Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) as custodian and for all back-office services and launched as one of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada's (IIROC) dealer members and a member of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF). In 2021, NPW Inc. received approval from the SEC to expand its operations in the United States and offer the same wealth services to its citizens.
Since its launch, NPW has expanded its business globally while still maintaining a strong client base in Canada. In 2015, NPW won the best New Practice of the Year Award at WP's Annual Gala.
Elie is the only advisor recognized by the Wealth Professional (WP) Magazine as one of Canada's Top 50 Advisors for nine consecutive years. He has also been a finalist for the Advisor of the Year Award at WP's Annual Gala for the past six years. In 2021, he was nominated as one of the Top 40 Advisors Under 40 by the Investment Industry Association of Canada.
Aside from being a CEO, Wealth Advisor and Associate Portfolio Manager, Elie is a member of the Forbes Finance Council and serves on the board of the Advisory Council for the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music.
